Elsewhere takes an introspective dive into my own immigrating journey to Finland, and the feelings of isolation consequently involved, using the landscape as a tool for emotional catharsis. It explores internal processes of physical and spiritual displacement as an immigrant, working in the in-between space of natural and imaginary landscapes.
I present a space for contemplation, interwinding elements of poetic narration, infrared photography and references to pictorialism.
